Facility Reservation Permit Information

All parks including restrooms will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and no reservations will be made for that day.


You may now complete a facility reservation for the shelters listed below. If you would like to reserve at a community center or a shelter not in this listing, you will need to contact the center directly. To reserve a gazebo contact the shelter's office.

By submitting a Facility Reservation, you agree to have read and abide by all our rules and regulations.

Full payment will be required at the time of the facility reservation to complete your permit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

If you will be paying for your shelter or gazebo rental with cash, check, or money order, you must visit our main office at 3402 W. Columbus Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.

Bounce houses/inflatable amusements are allowed at certain locations; however, the company must have a current certificate of liability insurance on file, naming the City as an additional insured. Bounce houses/inflatable amusements are limited to one (1) per shelter and may not exceed the following dimensions 20' length, 20' width, 17' height. Only vendors from the approved list are permitted to operate a bounce house/inflatable amusement.

Bounce houses/inflatable amusements are not allowed at the following parks: Ballast Point Park, Cypress Point Park, Julian B Lane Riverfront Park, Palma Ceia Park, Sulphur Springs Park, and Water Works Park.

Our most popular camp! Participants are sure to enjoy a variety of games, arts and crafts, sports, edible art, roving programs and more throughout this 10-week REC (Recreate, Educate, Create) Summer Camp. **For 5 year olds, the child must currently be enrolled in kindergarten through the Hillsborough County Public School System.** A current rec card is required for the entire summer.

Teen Summer Camps - 20002111

The camp is for the child 2 - 5 years old who is potty trained. We will begin our day at 930am and end the day at 1200pm. will be held at Ragan Park Center. JBL Recreational Rowing - 28002021

This Camp is designed for beginner through intermediate rowers. No experience necessary! Campers will be divided by age, ability, and previous rowing experience. Learn a new sport or increase your skills for next season. Activities will vary each week for campers interested in multiple weeks. Campers will receive on-the-water coaching as well as video review sessions. Campers will also participate in swimming and other paddling sports such as kayak, stand-up paddleboard, and dragon boats. The week will conclude with a race and awards ceremony at the Tampa River Center. Early drop-off for morning camp is 7:30 am - 9 am. The late pick-up for afternoon camp is between 3pm and 5 pm. *No additional fees for early/late drop-off/pickup. For questions, please contact Victoria Mattie.
