An art class that focuses on learning techniques in watercolor painting. Classes will be broken into 7 weeks sessions and limited to 12 students a session. ( 2/14/2023-3/28/23) & (4/3/2023-05/16/23)

A form of artistic expression using your imagination to create Poetry. Poetry is to entertain. It’s aim is to provoke a reaction while stirring emotions

The table tennis instructor will teach and guide participants in the rules of table tennis.

Pickleball is a paddle sport played with a whiffle ball on a badminton-sized court and a tennis-style net. A non-volley zone (or kitchen) prevents volleys close to the net, and the serving team cannot volley the return of serve. These unique rules favor players with less mobility and allow senior players to compete successfully with younger competitors.

Current Rec Card Holders are permitted to use the Computer Lab to browse the Internet, access email, or work on Microsoft Open Suite programs. No food or drink permitted in lab. Printing available at a nominal fee of $.15 per sheet.

Students will be lead in a class consisting of cardiovascular and core exercises, showing students that exercising can be fun at any level. This class works on cardiovascular endurance, balance, flexibility and strength. Fitness routines are taught to music, so participants enjoy their experience. A wide variety of participants attend this class raging from young adults to senior citizens. All skill levels are welcome to join this fun and energetic class.

Our indoor/outdoor class is a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core and functional movement patterns. We want to get you fit, get you healthy, challenge your mind, your body and most importantly make fitness fun!

Students/participants are welcomed to join the Tampa Parks and Recreation Department fitness room. These fitness rooms are self-lead activities that provide a place and opportunity for you and your family to tone and strengthen muscles, enhance your cardiovascular system and meet new people. There is no pressure. Workout and develop at your own pace, you decide what and how much exercise best meets your needs in a clean and safe environment. Participants must have a current RecCard.

A new and creative weekly side-by-side club for children 2-5 years of age, that targets early childhood development through sports, arts and culture, mind and body, environmental awareness, and life skills. No additional charge to participate.

Students/participants (seniors) enjoy this social time with friends playing Bingo for prizes.

Our most popular camp! Participants are sure to enjoy a variety of games, arts and crafts, sports, edible art, roving programs and more throughout this 10-week REC (Recreate, Educate, Create) Summer Camp. **For 5 year olds, the child must currently be enrolled in kindergarten through the Hillsborough County Public School System.** A current rec card is required for the entire summer.
