Cross Over Crafts - 39004021

Class meets two Fridays per month (please check schedule) with mediums changing monthly. Please contact the studio to register by calling 813-274-8364. Since this class meets twice a month, we are able to get more involved exploring various mediums. Similar to Fun Fridays, Cross Over Crafts will break out of the box allowing you to expand your horizons and create art in different forms. The studio will have the tools needed for each class; however, students will be responsible for providing some of their own materials. Once enrolled, the instructor will provide a supply list at least one week in advance.

WEAVING ON A LOOM: In this two-week class we will learn how to make a simple loom and the fundamentals of weaving wall hangings or functional work like a purse.
ACRYLIC POURS: We will explore different substrates in our continuing journey into abstract art with free flowing acrylics.
LINOCUTS AND PRINTMAKING:This class will only meet once (due to holiday schedules) and will focus on iron-transfer designs with a Speedy Carve substrate. Various gouging and color separation techniques will be discussed.
