Sew Fun
Sew Fun
This class will provide the participants with a strong foundation in sewing, with projects that engage the student in getting to know how to use their machine, how to assemble projects from patterns, and develop their hand-sewing skills. Outside of individual projects, throughout the session, we will be assembling a group patchwork quilt out of scrap fabric and memorable pieces of fabric to tell a story, and leave at the studio for others to see and enjoy.
The following are some of the materials needed for the class: case to carry supplies; several spools of white thread; pins; small variety of hand-sewing needles; measuring tape; seam ripper; a pencil or some other fabric-marking device; case of bobbins; and a pair of sharp fabric scissors.
